Stillwater Dominates SEC Track and Field Finals

The Boys capture first place as a team 1st; the Girls take home second.

Stillwater High School's Track and Field Team ran to an impressive performance Thursday in the SEC Conference finals capturing multiple individual and team awards.

Behind two firsts in both the mile and 2 miler, the Boy's team captured first in team standings with 186.50 points, edging Roseville; and the Girls team placed second behind pernnial champ Moundsview.

Tom Linner won the 1600 meter race in 4:12.31;

Teammates Wayde Hall and Tayler Aarness placed third and fourth respectively;

Sophomore Eric Colvin captured the 3200 meter race in 9:39.08;

Teammate Sean Burke placed third.

First place in the Girl's 4x400 meter relay went to the team of Natalie Johnson, Natalie Phippen, Caitlin Hewes and Kelcie  Kempenich.

The boys also won the 4 x 400 relay with the team of Makao Day, Jack Baglio, Marshall Davis and Nate Ricci.
