Stillwater Driver Crashes Into Tree After Being Shot In Saint Paul
The 43-year-old Stillwater resident was found unconscious and bloodied after crashing in Saint Paul's Summit Hill neighborhood.

Police say a Stillwater driver crashed into a tree in Saint Paul early Friday after being shot. The 43-year-old man is expected to survive his injuries. Officers were called to the scene of Grand Avenue and Dale Street in Saint Paul's Summit Hill neighborhood just after 2 a.m. and found the unconscious driver bloodied and slumped over. He was taken to Regions Hospital.
The man told police he was shot near a school but didn't provide much more information than that and was uncooperative, police told the Pioneer Press. Drug paraphernalia was found in the man’s car, authorities said.
