Stillwater Experiences 'Rash' Of Small Suspicious Fires

Last week, Stillwater had a rash of suspicious fires in catch basins and a garbage can in .

Four fires total in two hours in close proximity, according to Stillwater Fire Chief Stu Glaser.

The fires started at 6:00 p.m. and the last one occurred at 8 p.m. in the Croixwood area.

“They did not look accidental,” Glaser said adding, “obviously whoever was doing it was moving around but not going far.”

The fires were quickly put out by the fire department and there was no major property damage.
