Stillwater Fire Department's Open House is Saturday

The Stillwater Fire Department will be hosting an open house Saturday, Oct. 15 to culminate Fire Prevention Week.

The Stillwater Fire Department will be hosting an open house Saturday, Oct. 15 to culminate Fire Prevention Week.

All area residents are invited to tour the from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday where there will be firefighting demonstrations, station tours, free fire education/prevention material, blood pressure checks, face painting, and child fingerprinting.

Stillwater firefighters will be joined by the Stillwater Police Department, Lakeview Hospital EMS, Washington County Public Health Child Safety Seat information, and Freckles the Fire Dog.

Those attending will be able to practice using a fire extinguisher on live training props, squirt a fire hose, register for door prizes and enjoy free refreshments.
