Stillwater firefighters extinguished a roll-off dumpster fire this morning on Manning Avenue just north of Highway 36.
Firefighters were called at 10:46 a.m. to a report of a roll-off dumpster that caught fire during transport on Manning Avenue, Stillwater Fire Chief Stu Glaser said. The driver noticed the smoke in the rear-view mirror and pulled over near .
The roll-off dumpsterΒ was loaded with construction debris.

There were no injuries, Glaser said.
The dumpster was loaded with bricks and other construction debris such as vermiculite insulation, which carries less than 1 percent asbestos, Glaser said.

Early reports of the blaze stated the truck was "full of asbestos."
"We were relieved to learn the debris was vermiculite and not a serious hazardous materials call," Glaser said.
Authorities closed a portion of Manning for a while this morning due to heavy smoke in the area.
The materials were from the demolition of the restroom building at the St. Croix Boomsite, the Pioneer Press reports.
