Stillwater Legion Set For District Semifinals
Stillwater will face Eastview at 7 p.m. on Friday with a spot in the championship game on the line
The Stillwater American Legion baseball team advanced in the District 3 tournament with a 6-2 win over Forest Lake on Thursday in Red Wing.
The victory sends third-seeded Stillwater into the district semifinals, where the squad will face second-seeded Eastview. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Alimagnet Park in Burnsville.
Stillwater has outscored its opponents 16-2 in the district tournament, beginning with a 10-0 win over Woodbury Blue in the opening round. Eastview has been equally dominant, defeating Hastings 11-1 before topping Northfield 13-2 on Thursday.

Three teams advance from District 3 into the state tournament. The loser of this game will be placed in one of the two runner-up games being played on Saturday and will have the opportunity to still earn a state berth.
