Stillwater Man Charged With Felony After Failing to Register as Sex Offender
Justin Lee Patrick, 30, was required to register with the BCA for 10 years after a 2001 conviction of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

A 30-year-old former Stillwater resident made his first appearance in a Washington County court on Jan. 25 after failing to register as a predatory offender since August 2011.
Authorities issued an arrest warrant for Justin Lee Patrick on Nov. 22 after repeated attempts to contact him at his Stillwater address were unsuccessful.
On his Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) registration form Patrick listed his permanent address as a residence in the 1900 block of Tuenge Drive.Β

According to a warrant complaint filed on Nov. 21, Patrick advised Stillwater policeΒ he was no longer living at the listed address and that he was homeless.
Despite encouragement from officers to notify BCA authorities of his status, Patrick failed to amend his residence listing. Β

Patrick was required to register with the BCA for 10 years after being convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in 2001.
His next court appearance is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Feb. 8.Β
