State Patrol: Stillwater Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash North of Forest Lake

A 45-year-old Stillwater man was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday evening north of Forest Lake.

Scott Vikander was traveling northbound on Highway 61 near 240th Street at a high rate of speed when he lost control and was ejected from a motorcycle, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. According to the report, alcohol was detected. 

According to the crash report, Vikander was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He died at the scene.
