Stillwater Police: A Man Found Passed Out In His Car and More

Stillwater Police Blotter: Nov. 14-16.

Monday, Nov 14:

  • An 18-year-old Hugo woman reported to police that in August, her 19-year-old friend, with no permanent address, allegedly shot her in the buttocks with an airsoft gun. The victim told police, her friend allegedly started laughing and rolling on the ground after the shooting. According to the police report, the BB from the gun became lodged in the victim’s rear. Doctors decided against removing the BB, as it would cause more trauma to the area. The 19-year-old woman has been charged with second-degree assault. She is currently in the Washington County Jail on separate check fraud charges from earlier this month.

Tuesday, Nov. 15:

  • A 24-year-old May Township man was fond passed out in his vehicle in the cub Foods parking lot. According to the report, the man told officers he had “a couple” beers at Carbone’s and decided to pick up some food at Cub Foods. The man was arrested for Fourth Degree DWI.

  • According to Washington County Jail records, a 37-year-old Stillwater woman was arrested for allegedly stealing $3,000 in business funds from Subway in Stillwater.

  • In Minnesota Department of Public Safety news, A study of the state’s counties with the highest percentage of unbelted traffic deaths points to problem areas in the southeast, southwest, northwest, as well as a stretch of eastern counties running north from the Twin Cities, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) Office of Traffic Safety.

Yang has a Washington County Felony warrant for Violation of a Harassment Restraining Order. Yang has been known to the Sheriff’s Department for felony harassment restraining order violations, motor vehicle tax evasion and driving with a suspend license.
