Stillwater Police: Metal Literature Boxes Stolen from Veterans Memorial

Stillwater police believe two metal literature boxes, valued at $45, were stolen from the Veterans Memorial to be traded in for money at a scrap metal yard.

Stillwater police are investigating the theft of two metal literature boxes from the .

The metal literature boxes were stolen from the north end of the Veterans Memorial sometime in the last week, according to police. The boxes were attached to a rod-iron fence with two u-bolts, which were also stolen.

The literature boxes were valued at $45.
