Stillwater Police Seek Public's Help Finding Hit-and-Run Suspect

Stillwater police are looking for the driver of a red ¾ ton extended cab Ford pickup truck that backed through a garage on East Willow Street then fled on Highway 95 toward downtown Stillwater.

Stillwater police are looking for a person who backed a pick-up truck through a garage in the 300 block of East Willow Street shortly after midnight Friday and then fled on Highway 95 toward downtown Stillwater.

At about 12:30 a.m. Aug. 12 police responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 300 block of East Willow Street that resulted in tens of thousands of dollard worth of damage to the victim's garage and a vehicle parked inside the garage, according to a press release issued by Sgt. Jeff Stender.

The homeowner awoken by the crash was able to provide a description of the suspect vehicle:

A red ¾ ton extended cab Ford pickup truck that was very dirty and appeared to have lights on the roof of the cab, occupied by two people.

The suspect vehicle suffered extensive damage and was leaking fluids as it fled the scene.
