Stillwater, Woodbury Royalty Thank Lakeview Hospital Staff
Miss St. Croix Valley and the Northern Lights Princesses paid a visit to the emergency department bearing cupcakes and a note of thanks.
STILLWATER, MN — Three times last winter, Stillwater resident Michelle Bergh, Miss St. Croix Valley, found herself in the Lakeview Hospital Emergency Department. Her visits were due to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, or POTS, a non-life-threatening heart condition.
On May 23, Michelle returned with her Northern Lights Princesses, sisters Caleigh and Audrey Proulx, both of Woodbury, bearing cupcakes and a note of thanks for the care she received.
"We have an attitude of gratitude initiative each month and this month we are celebrating hometown heroes," Michelle told the Lakeview Emergency Department staff on duty when she delivered the treats.
