Stillwater's Glen Perkins Expects to Stay a Minnesota Twin
The pitcher said "Nope" when the St. Paul Pioneer Press asked Perkins if he thought he'd be traded soon.

Glen Perkins, who rose from Stillwater Area High School player to major leaguer, is pretty sure the Minnesota Twins won't trade him this month, judging by his conversation with Twins general manager Terry Ryan, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported:
Perkins' read on the situation?
"I believe the words that I saw come out of his mouth," he said, "and that's about it."

So Perkins doesn't believe he's in imminent danger of getting traded away from his hometown team?
"No," he said, shaking his head. "Nope."
