Stillwater's New, Moderately Priced Speakeasy Is A Hit: Yelp

STILLWATER, MN — It turns out the new kid in town is also popular. The Velveteen Speakeasy, Stillwater's newest, secretive bar has an impressive 4.5 rating on Yelp and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback. And while the speakeasy describes itself as high-end, its prices on everything from craft cocktails, beers and wine are rated "moderate."
Reviewer Katie M. from Sacramento, CA said the "discrete" bar offers good drinks, a good, low-key crowd. "Three drinks and a headache later, for the win," she wrote.
Stillwater resident Hal P. said Velveteen has "a great atmosphere, dark lighting and a creative theme on the Velveteen rabbit."
