The 6th grade class at Stonebridge Elementary had their hands full today cooking, serving and clearing tables at a special pancake breakfast to celebrate their last year at Stonebridge and to thank parents, teachers and staff for their year-long support.
The breakfast was the third this year and was organized by 6th graders Mitchell Novak and Will Harter who spent the morning learning the nuances of frying bacon. The whole class worked together to create custom invites for all of the guests that were delivered about a week in advance. Both Mitchell and Will agreed that the whole class receives a lot of support from others and that it is nice for the class to work together to recognize their supporters and pay them back, even just a little bit, for all that they’ve done.
