Suspect Arrested In Fatal St. Paul Park Stabbing

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — Police say an arrest was made after a stabbing in St. Paul Park Wednesday night. On Aug. 15 just after 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of 1020 3rd Street.

There they found one person who suffered fatal stab wounds. An arrest was made overnight and the suspect is in custody at the Washington County Jail. Formal charges are pending.

This is an active investigation being conducted with the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension,Washington County Sheriff's Office, Cottage Grove Police Department and Woodbury Police Department.

Identification of the victim will be made by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.
