July 11, 12 & 13 at 7 p.m. and July 14 at 2 p.m. at Stillwater Area High School

Synopsis:

Patriarch Jacob lived happily with his dozen sons, but his favoritism for the bright Joseph, symbolized by the gift of a spectacular multi-colored coat, makes his brothers so jealous that they end up selling him as a slave and staging his death. Joseph rises in the service of wealthy Potifar, but is falsely accused of shenanigans with his wife and eventually jailed. His gift of dream-telling, however, wins him Pharaoh's favor and becomes second in command - put in charge of planning for the predicted famine. When famine finally arrives, Joseph's brothers come to beg for food, not recognizing their long-lost sibling. It is time for reckoning, but nobility and forgiveness prevail as the family is once more united.

Lyrics by Tim Rice, Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber

Directed by Haeri Tollefson
Vocal Direction by Katelyn Larson
Choreography by Sheila Casey Best
