Tran Found Incompetent to Stand Trial in Fatal Child Shooting Case

Nhan Tran, the man accused of killing Oakdale 9-year-old Devin Aryal in an apparent random shooting in February, has been found incompetent to stand trial, according to a Minnesota Public Radio piece by Tim Nelson.

He will be transported to the state mental hospital in St. Peter. 

From the MPR piece:

A psychological examination by requested Tran's attorney found him incompetent to stand trial in March. A psychological exam requested by prosecutors had "equivocal" findings, according to Washington Co. Attorney Pete Orput. The report was filed in court this morning.
