UPDATED: Wisconsin Man Remains in Critical Condition After Head-On Crash Near Prescott
A 72-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman, both of Stillwater, were killed in a head-on crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 35 at County Road QQ near Prescott, Wis. The driver of a second vehicle remains in critical condition.

The 51-year-old Prescott man involved in last weekend's fatal crash near Prescott, Wis., remains in critical condition, according to staff at Regions Hospital.
Two Stillwater residents were killed in the head-on crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 35 north of Pierce County Road QQ near Prescott, Wis.
Richard Edwin Skare, 72, of Stillwater,Β was driving northbound in a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu when he collided head-on with 1994 Chevrolet Lumina that was being driven southbound byΒ Randy J. Tape,Β 51, of Prescott.

As a result of the crash, Skare and the passenger in his vehicle, Irene Ruth Skare,Β 71, died.Β Tape and the passenger in his vehicle, Tammy A.Β Decker, 53, of Hastings,Β were both air lifted from the scene of the crash to Regions Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Tape remains in critical condition, according to a staff member at Regions. The hospital did not have information about Decker.

The Wisconsin State Patrol responded at 4:29 p.m., to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 35 near County Road QQ.
According to the report, the Richard Skare was not wearing his seat belt. The other three people involved in the crash were buckled-up.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
