Veterans' Job Fair Set for Thursday

The Washington County Veterans' Job Fair is set for Sept. 27 at the Prom Center in Oakdale. 

The job fair will give veterans the opportunity to meet with employers who are hiring. The event is set to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The job fair is hosted by Washington County Veterans Services, Veterans Linkage Line, Washington County WorkForce Center, and the Department of Employment and Economic Development.

About 2,700 veterans have recently returned to Minnesota, with more than 500 of these veterans currently looking for work.
