Washington County Hosts First "Cops and Cones" Event

Along with a wide display of emergency vehicles, attendants enjoyed ice cream, a K-9 demonstration, and meet-and-greets with deputies.

On Aug. 25, Washington County Sheriff's Deputies partnered with Selma's Ice Cream Parlor to bring the county's first-annual "Cops and Cones" event in Afton.

Selma's Owner's Becky and Paul Nickerson and the deputies were able to provide a fun-filled, community engaging event to celebrate back-to-school in the Lower St. Croix Valley, according to a news release.

Along with a wide display of emergency vehicles, attendants also enjoyed ice cream, a K-9 demonstration, and meet-and-greets with the deputies.
