Weather: Up to 3 Inches of Snow Forecast for the Stillwater Area

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Stillwater area as a weather system makes its way out of the Dakotas and into Minnesota.

The Stillwater area could see up to 3 inches of new snow by tomorrow, making the 24-hour period the second-largest snow event this season.

If we do see snow accumulation, remember Stillwater's winter parking rules are in effect.

According to the National Weather Service, rain should begin falling in Western Minnesota around 2 p.m., with snow reaching the Twin Cities sometime this evening.

Snow is expected continue through evening hours, with total accumulations between 1 to 3 inches.
