
So, did you guess correctly? Yes, no, maybe so???? Well, both your body and the earth are made up of approximately 70% WATER! Yes, my hands typing on this computer are mostly made up of water!! All of those ligaments, bones, joints, skin, etc is mostly water. I bet you are thinking this is really sexy stuff eh? Well, there is no doubt that your body will function better if you drink, at least, half your body weight in water! Let me share some reasons with you for drinking more water and I just bet you will become more of a water drinker that any other kind, or at least I hope so!

• 83% of your blood
Water:
• Transports nutrients and oxygen into your cells
• Moisturizes the air in your lungs
• Prevents dehydration thus preventing fatigue
• Helps with metabolism
• Protects your vital organs
• Helps your organs absorb nutrients
• Regulates your body temperature
• Detoxifies
• Protects and moisturizes our joints
• Aids in digestion, skin clarity and appetite control

This means:
• Proper hydration for brain, muscles, bones and blood (you are sharp now!)
• Less fatigue, headaches
• More energy

• Lighten those shadows under your eyes and no more scratchy skin
When you are deficient in water your body is not able to function as well as it should. Perhaps that 3pm headache or slump is due dehydration? Your goal? Drink half your body weight in water!
