What Should Go Here? Stillwater Depot Grill

For our inaugural "What Should Go Here?" feature, we'll take a look at the vacant space where the Stillwater Depot Grill once (well OK, twice) served up dinners on the north end of Main Street.

The property sits at what will eventually be the trailhead of the —a location DNR officials have said may see upwards of 250,000 users every year.

The space is also a stone’s throw from about 360 condo units, a couple of marinas and the future site of the and .

The 1.34-acre property is listed at $2.9 million.

The property includes a 9,372 square-foot building built in 1993 and renovated 10 years later. It’s zoned for retail use and has 74 parking spaces available.

The old Stillwater Depot Grill is “turn-key” ready to once again become a restaurant and comes complete with two fully-operational kitchens.

Potential buyers, according to property owner David Paradeau, have considered using the space as a restaurant, theater, daycare center and tourism and visitors center.
