Winter Parking Restrictions Begin In Stillwater

The grace period for parking violations in Stillwater is now over.

STILLWATER, MN — You may have noticed an orange slip under your windshield wiper earlier this month. The Stillwater Police Department began issuing these warnings during the first few days of November to inform drivers that the winter parking restrictions are now in effect.

With the grace period over, be sure to follow the city parking ordinance. Otherwise, the next slip under your wiper will be a ticket.

Winter Parking Regulations

The current city ordinance puts odd/even parking controls into effect from Nov. 1 through April 1 throughout the city. All drivers are required to park their vehicles on the odd numbered side of the street on odd dates and even numbered side of the street on even dates. These parking controls apply whether or not any snow has fallen.
