The woman's family said she was being held against her will, according to police.

STILLWATER, MN — A Stillwater man is accused of raping a woman near an apple orchard after having drinks with her in a bar in the city. Christopher Aamodt, 31, faces a first-degree criminal sexual conduct charged in connection with a November 2016 incident.

Aamodt is the son of the owner of Aamodt's Apple Farm in Stillwater, City Pages reported after the news broke on the "Deplorable Housewives of the Midwest" blog.

According to the criminal complaint, on Nov. 6, 2016 the woman's family told police she was being held against her will and they could not locate her.

The woman called her grandmother at about 2:30 a.m. saying that she was near an apple orchard with some men she did not know and that she wanted to go home. The phone line then went dead.

The woman then called her mother from another phone number again say she "just wanted to go home," but one of the men she was with refused to give the address, according to police.

She was "upset and crying," according to the woman's family.

Police traced the second phone number to an address where they found the woman in Aamodt's truck, the complaint states. After seeing officers the women jumped out and ran to a squad car, asking "will you please take me home."

Aamodt told officers that he wasn't sure why the woman was crying, according to police.

The woman told officers while she did not remember much about the evening, she knew she met Aamodt at a bar in Stillwater and she had at least three whiskey sours.

The woman reported the next thing she remembered was waking up wearing a pair of black leggings that were not hers. She found her jeans turned inside out.

A DNA test later determined Aamodt matched semen found on the black leggings, the complaint states.

If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison and a $40,000 fine.
