15-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed On Highway 7 In St. Louis Park

The collision shut down Highway 7 Thursday for about an hour. ​

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a crash involving two cars that killed a 15-year-old pedestrian Thursday in St. Louis Park. The fatal collision occurred just before 6:20 p.m. at Minnesota 7 and Texas Avenue.

According to authorities, an Acura MDX was westbound on Highway 7 and drove through a green light at Texas Avenue. After passing the intersection, the Acura struck the pedestrian in the left lane; the teen was pushed into eastbound traffic where he collided with a BMW 330I, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

The Acura driver was identified as Donald Frederick Noack, 59, of Minnetonka. The BMW driver was Vance Patrick Dornisch, 24, also of Minnetonka.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, police said. Authorities have yet to release the name of the teen killed.
