20-Year-Old On Motorcycle Killed In West Metro Crash
The other person involved in the crash — a 16-year-old girl — was hospitalized.
SHOREWOOD, MN — A 20-year-old man was killed while riding a motorcycle on Highway 7 in Shorewood Tuesday.
Just after 6 p.m., Parker G. Nelson, of Wayzata, was riding a Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Highway 7 approaching Eureka Road. A Honda Pilot — driven by a 16-year-old girl — was southbound on Eureka Road, turning left to travel east on Highway 7.
The Honda Pilot entered the intersection, and the motorcycle broadsided the Honda, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Nelson died at the scene. The teen driver was taken to Ridgeview Hospital.
