Edina Brand Launches Smarter Jumpsuit Design

KRE Prime

About Us MINNEAPOLIS — KRE PRIME, a Minneapolis-based adaptive apparel innovation company, is bringing practical engineering to one of fashion’s most versatile—but often inconvenient—staples: the jumpsuit. KRE PRIME creates premium adaptive apparel that brings style, accessibility, and real-life functionality together. Its patent-pending Convertible Jumpsuit System addresses a familiar challenge: using the restroom without awkwardly removing the entire garment. The flagship Dual-Look Set includes one tapered pant foundation and two interchangeable tops—the Keyhole and the Bardot. The pieces may be worn separately or connected through KRE PRIME’s discreet front horizontal hip-to-hip closure system, creating polished looks that transition from work and travel to evening plans. Founder Kate Barikor Grady developed the concept from personal experience. Although she appreciated the clean, minimalist look of jumpsuits, she found traditional designs inconvenient for everyday life. “I wanted something that felt effortless but also worked with the way people actually live,” Grady said. “It needed to be beautiful, but also practical.” The closure system allows the pants component to separate while the top remains worn and styled, supporting faster, more discreet restroom access. This design may also provide greater flexibility and comfort for customers with diverse mobility and accessibility needs. A smooth, hardware-free rear panel is designed to support seated comfort while preserving a refined silhouette. KRE PRIME is a digital-first brand with local roots. Grady founded the company in loving memory of her late sister, Tonubari Barikor, and built its mission around mobility, confidence, accessibility, function, and legacy. The Dual-Look Set is available in Classic Black and Crimson Red, in sizes S through XL, for \$150. KRE PRIME also offers an \$85 Starter Set and a \$300 Signature Wardrobe Capsule. A body wrapped in sheets was found shortly before noon today behind a Cedar Lake Road industrial business, near the railroad tracks. An employee of Angstrom Analytical Inc., found the shrouded body in a small grassy area behind the 5001 Cedar Lake Road building, below a wooded berm that led to the train tracks. After the employee called 911 to report the body, St. Louis Park police arrived but were unable to determine the body's age, sex or the extent of the injuries, city spokesman Jamie Zwilling said. The body has been taken into custody by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, and police are investigating the incident as a crime. A report is expected today or Wednesday from the medical examiner, and more information could be forthcoming if police decide they need the public's help in identifying a victim. Some television stations are reporting the body was wrapped in white bedsheets, but Zwilling said that the police department is not disclosing what type of sheets enveloped the body and that it would be difficult for an observer to differentiate by sight the sheets from police coverings.

An Angstrom Analytical employee found the body outside his office shortly before noon today.
