Building Our Future

I am nearly finished door-knocking my way through St. Louis Park.  I have been through 14 of the 16 precincts in the city.  I have appreciated the opportunity to hear what people love about our school district and what peoples' concerns are.

If elected, I will keep an open line of communication to members of the community.  I will look for opportunities to meet with people and hear their concerns.  I will foster an approachable reputation by being respectful to everyone, soliciting and valuing their opinion, always speaking directly and to the point, and following through when an issue needs more research.

Together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.  I look forward to the day that the achievement gap is eliminated and all students have the opportunity to succeed.  I believe that I am the right person to work with the community because of my broad experience working with school issues, and my collaborative approach to decision-making.
