Car Fire Blocks Traffic On Interstate 394 Friday

Motorists commuting on Interstate 394 in the west Twin Cities metro saw significant traffic backups.

HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — Motorists commuting on Interstate 394 in the west Twin Cities metro saw significant delays Friday afternoon after a vehicle caught on fire. The car ended up blocking eastbound traffic on the highway near Wirth Parkway. Fire crews were on the scene by 3:30 p.m. and quickly extinguished the blaze.
