Credit Card Skimmers Found In Twin Cities Grocery Stores
Skimmers were found across the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — Credit card skimmers were found at four grocery stores in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. The illegal tools were found at the Lunds & Byerlys locations in Eagan, Woodbury, Minneapolis, and St. Louis Park.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is undertaking the investigation.
"Local agencies referred their cases to the BCA due to the multi-jurisdictional nature of this type of crime," BCA spokesperson Jill Oliveira told KARE 11.

The FBI recommends that customers always inspect ATMs, sale terminals, and other card readers before putting in your credit card. Be aware of any damages on the device that might indicate skimming.
The FBI says to not use a card reader if it looks suspicious.
