Practicing Social and Conversation Skills classes at Groves Academy Open to Public

Practicing Social and Conversation Skills is specifically designed to give 13 to 17 year old students the opportunity to directly learn and practice social skills in an affirming and supportive small group environment. The focus will be on teens and the real life situations they encounter with peers and family. The program is a good fit for students who experience difficulty with social interactions due to attention disorders, language-based learning disabilities such as dyslexia, non-verbal learning disorders or anxiety disorders. Classes are held at Groves Academy in St. Louis Park, MN. The program is open both to students enrolled at Groves Academy and to students from any other school. Classes will have a maximum student to teacher ratio of 6:1 and a maximum of 12 students per session. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
