From within the tradition of St. Olaf College musical excellence comes the St. Olaf Handbell Choir, directed by Jill Mahr. They will present a concert at Aldersgate United Methodist Church at 3801 Wooddale Ave. in St. Louis Park on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. This is the first time the bell choir has performed in St. Louis Park. There will be no cost for admission but a free will offering will be taken. The thirteen-member choir is the premier ensemble in a program of three handbell choirs at St. Olaf College. The ensemble is an auditioned group that will be playing a variety of sacred and secular literature in their concert at Aldersgate.
