Uncommon Visions: Jewish Textile Artists

How does artistic vision mingle with spiritual identity? Artists have been dealing with this question for centuries. This exhibit attempts to answer this personal question through an array of fiber art media. The displayed works explore how these artists’ spiritual beliefs and artistic identities intersect and merge to transform their art and lives.

Participating artists: Beth Barron, Sonya Berlovitz, Sandra Brick, Leah Golberstein, Mimi Holmes, Gail Katz-James, Candy Kuehn, Avigail Manneberg, Dina O’Sullivan, Carol Premack, Sandra Self, Sandy Swirnoff, and Deborah Wolk.
