"Working"

Theatre of the Spirit will present Working. Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American Workers, Working is a musical expoloration of 26 people from all walks of life. The show paints a vivd portrait of the men and women the world often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the housewife, the construction worker, the millworker, the fireman, the waitress, to name a few. The contemporary feel of the book and music written by Stephen Schwartz and James Taylor contains timeless truths about how our relationships to our work reveal core truths about our own humanness regardless of the trappings of the job itself.

Show times are Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.

Sundays at 3:00 p.m. with spaghetti dinner following for $7.00 ($1 of which will go to the Imagine No Malaria campaign).
