Since my youth, I can remember wanting to be involved here in the Park. As a kid in Park Schools, I served on the Superintendent’s Council, the Echowan (yearbook), and as Student Council President.
More recently, I have put my energy into some of the things that matter most to me, strengthening our youth and building community. I am currently President of the Community Education Advisory Council, working with a great group of our neighbors in a partnership with School and City staff.
Harkening back to my days as a Summer Learning and Play participant and leader, I have recently served on the Community Recreation Task Force – exploring the possibilities of future development in community and recreation opportunities.
I have also had the chance to serve in past capacities as a community builder, serving for years on the Parktacular Board of Directors. A part of the neighborhood grant review team, I have worked to organize and engage near-home communities in the Park.
These experiences provide a glimpse into the things that matter most to me and my family as part of the St. Louis Park community.
