The Minnesota Department of Transportation wants to wish residents of the west Twin Cities metro a happy Friday with good news for fans of Highway 100.  The 24-hour Highway 100 closure between St. Louis Park and Bloomington that was scheduled for Friday night is canceled, according to a news release.  The closure is not gone for good, MnDot warns. It will reappear after Labor Day.  Unfortunately, accessing southbound Highway 100 from 70th St in Edina will be impossible.
