Happy Friday: Southbound Highway 100 Closure Canceled
The closure is not gone for good, MnDot warns. It will reappear after Labor Day.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation wants to wish residents of the west Twin Cities metro a happy Friday with good news for fans of Highway 100.
The 24-hour Highway 100 closure between St. Louis Park and Bloomington that was scheduled for Friday night is canceled, according to a news release.

Unfortunately, accessing southbound Highway 100 from 70th St in Edina will be impossible. The 70th St ramp to southbound Highway 100 will remain closed until Tuesday, Aug. 30.
