Highway 7 Bridge in St. Louis Park Lit Blue for Jacob Wetterling
The Highway 7 bridge will be lit blue through Sept. 25, ending with the night of the memorial service for Jacob Wetterling.
To honor the life of Jacob Wetterling, the Highway 7 and Louisiana Avenue bridge in St. Louis Park will be lit blue through Sept. 25.
The blue symbolizes child abuse prevention.
Other structures around Minnesota are doing the same to honor the boy's life.

Last week, Governor Mark Dayton directed the Minnesota Department of Transportation to have the Interstate 35W bridge in Minneapolis glow blue for 11 nights, beginning the evening of Thursday, Sept. 15 and ending with the night of the memorial service for Jacob on Sunday, Sept 25.
The remains of Jacob, who disappeared 27 years ago in St. Joseph, were found earlier this month in Paynesville.

Daniel Heinrich confessed in U.S. District Court that he abducted and murdered Jacob on Oct. 22, 1989.
