MINNETONKA, MN — The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on southbound Interstate 494 at Highway 7 in Minnetonka Tuesday morning. The southbound 494 ramp to eastbound Highway 7 will be closed for "an extended period of time," police said. According to emergency dispatch audio reviewed by the Star Tribune, a motorcyclist was getting off I-494 around 7 a.m. before slipping off the ramp and <a href="https://www.startribune.com/motorcycle-crash-on-i-494-ramp-kills-one-in-minnetonka/570005842/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">entering a ditch</a>.
