On Saturday, February 8 Max's at The Shops at Excelsior
& Grand will team up with the Lillehei Heart Institute to present
"Jewelry for the Heart," a fundraiser and celebration of National
Heart Month. The in-store event will include a presentation by Dr. Monica
Colvin-Adams, Medical Director, Cardiac Transplantation at the University of
Minnesota who will discuss cardiovascular health and answer questions. A
portion of the day's proceeds will benefit the Lillehei Heart Institute.
Also, myTalk 107.1's Shop Girls Allison Kaplan and her mom,Harmony Kaplan, will
broadcast live from the event and guests will enjoy a trunk show preview of
jewelry artist Jamie Joseph's exquisite work and samplings of Max's gourmet
Valentine's chocolate confections.
