Come to a FREE Family Event: In celebration of the Friends, join Books Alive! St. Louis Park Readers Theater as they bring to life youth storybooks through theatrical readings performed by St. Louis Park seniors. Come for Books Alive!, stay for prizes, treats, and more! Saturday, October 12th, 1:00 p.m.
Members Only Birthday Party: Current or new Friends members are invited to the Friends 50th after-hours Birthday Party on Saturday, October 12th, 5:00 p.m. Pizza and cake, bookwalk with prizes, and face painting. All ages welcome! RSVP by calling the St. Louis Park Library at 612-543-6125.

The Friends of the St. Louis Park Library support your local library in many ways including funding summer book clubs, adult arts and cultural programming, early literacy environments and raising $12,000 to purchase new browsing bins for the easy nonfiction collection.
