Make a New Year's resolution to graduate

Have 2015 be the year you earn your GED!

2015 is here and now is the time to make a resolution to earn a General Educational Development (GED) credential to start on a different path in life. Earning a GED® can open doors for new or continued employment, present opportunities for advancement, and give a solid foundation to head on to a 2 or 4-year college. Adult Options In Education will have a registration session at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5 for students considering attending morning or afternoon GED® preparation classes in Hopkins or St. Louis Park. The registration session will be at the Eisenhower Community Center in room 248. If interested, you must attend the entire 3 hour registration session. Classes will begin the following day on Tuesday, January 6. Call in advance to sign-up to reserve your spot at 952-988-5343.

Registration appointments for students interested in evening classes or who are unable to begin attending classes on Tuesday, January 6 may be made at 952-988-5343.

The GED® is a high school equivalency test that is fully aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education, which is recommended by the U.S. Department of Education. Nearly all U.S. colleges and employers accept a GED® as an equivalent to a high school diploma.
