Man Dies After Car Rolls On Highway 55 In Hennepin County
The driver was not wearing his seat belt during the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

ROCKFORD, MN — One man died Tuesday evening in a crash on Highway 55 in the northwest metro. The Minnesota State Patrol says a Monte Carlo was stopped at the stop sign at a frontage road east of County Road 50, waiting to turn eastbound onto Highway 55.
Midway through merging into the eastbound lanes of Highway 55, the Monte Carlo hit a Jeep Wrangler, authorities said.
The impact caused the Jeep to roll several times into the other lanes, where it came to rest, police said.

The driver of the Jeep — Bruce Elroy Burkowske, 56, of Cokato — died at the scene. He was not wearing is seat belt at the time of the crash, according to authorities.
The driver of the Monte Carlo — Tanya Teri Raddohl, 49, of Corcoran — was not injured in the crash, police said.
