Minnetonka High Student Shot By Deputies
The teen's mother said her son was suicidal and was threatening her with knives and a baseball bat, the BCA reports.

CHANHASSEN, MN — The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating after officers shot and killed a teenager Friday morning in Chanhassen.
According to the BCA, Carver County deputies were called to a home in the 6400 block of Oriole Avenue following a 911 call from a woman reporting her son was suicidal and was threatening her with knives and a baseball bat.
Deputies arrived and attempted to use a Taser on the 16-year-old boy. Two Carver County deputies later shot the teen, authorities said.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

One deputy was hospitalized in Chaska for non life-threatening injuries. He was treated and released.
KSTP identified the teen involved as Archer Amorosi, a Minnetonka High School student.
BCA agents are conducting interviews. Body cameras and dash cam video may have captured portions of the incident, the agency said.
The investigation is ongoing.
