Join Opera Theatre of Saint Louis for a special reception with composer Ricky Ian Gordon and librettist Royce Vavrek, the creative team who wrote the world premiere of “27,” which opens June 14 as part of the Wells Fargo Advisors 2014 Festival Season!
The event will start with complimentary appetizers and cash bar, followed by a multimedia program in Monarch's Butterfly Room, in which Ricky and Royce will share background into their creative process for developing the opera. By joining us for this event, you’ll be among the first in the world to hear excerpts from this exciting world premiere about Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas and their Parisian salon, sung by the composer himself.
