(PHOTOS) St. Louis Park Students Show Latino Spice

The annual event was on Friday.

Every year at , kids involved in the Latino Association for Higher Education put on a show to educate students about their heritage. This year, approximately 30 students were involved and practiced once a week for six weeks.

The performances were on Friday during the school day. Each world language class was given tickets to attend, and the show was held three times.

The show consisted of Latin folk dances with native attire, poem readings and songs with strong messages. Each number was introduced with a brief description about where it was from and what it meant to the students.
