Rent A Facility In St. Louis Park

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN -- If you have an event coming up, or need a reason to have a party or get-together, the City of St. Louis Park offers its citizens a chance to rent one of many of their recreation facilities. The St. Louis Park website lists all of the facilities for rent, as well as necessary details. Here's what is available:

ROC — Recreation Outdoor Center

Plan your wedding or next event at the ROC. The outdoor facility accommodates up to 700 people for wedding receptions, Bar and Bat Mitzvah parties, company events, birthday parties and large-scale gatherings. The facility rental space measures 200’ x 85’ and includes a PA system. Call 952.924.2540 to reserve your event.

• Available to rent Sunday – Saturday, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
• $25 per hour (two-hour minimum)
• $150 half day, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. or 4 – 10 p.m.
• $300 full day, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
• $60 food and beverage fee
• $150 damage deposit for half or full day rentals

Banquet Room

The Banquet Room overlooks the Aquatic Park and Wolfe Park and is available for wedding receptions, birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvah parties, company events, family reunions and large meetings. The room comfortably seats 160 people and offers a caterer's holding kitchen, dance floor, dimmable lighting and sound system. Audio-visual equipment can be rented for an additional fee.

Gallery Room

Located on the first floor of The Rec Center, the gallery can accommodate up to 60 people for small group gatherings, team meetings and birthday parties. Audio-visual equipment can be rented for an additional fee.

Indoor Ice Skating Party

During open public skating sessions, either the Gallery or the Banquet Room can be rented for private parties. Each party will include two hour use of a room and admission to open skating for up to 15 people. Skate rental is available for an additional $3 per pair. Indoor Ice Rink Rental

Rent The Rec Center’s indoor ice arena for birthday parties, celebrations, and company or school events. We’ll provide the gallery room for two hours without additional charge. The Banquet Room can also be reserved for use at half the cost. Up to 15 rental skates are included with private ice rental.

Outdoor Facilities

Park Buildings

All park buildings are fully enclosed and have indoor restrooms, tables and chairs. They can accommodate 20 or 30 people. Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in any park.

Open Air Picnic Shelters

Picnic shelters can accommodate groups of 20 to 100. All shelters have access to electricity and most have grills (except for Fern Hill Park). Indoor toilets are open May 30 – Sept. 1. Portable toilets will be available before May 30 and after Sept. 1. A permit is required for live bands or amplified music. Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in any park.

Veterans Memorial Amphitheater

Terraced into the hill, the amphitheater connects the park to the Excelsior & Grand Town Green. Its eight terraced tiers offer seating for 300 people. The concrete stage at the bottom of the hill is edged with trees and shrubs. When no public events are scheduled, the amphitheater can be rented for weddings and other events from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily. There is an additional fee for overhead lights after dusk.

Mobile Stage/Special Equipment

The city has a mobile stage, portable PA system, and folding tables and chairs available for residents and neighborhood groups to rent. Call 952.924.2540 for more information. Special Equipment Rental Application

Court Rentals

Sand volleyball, tennis and pickleball courts are available for rent Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 1 – Oct. 30, 9 – 11 a.m. Fees are $20 per hour per court for residents, $25 for non-residents. Call 952.924.2540 to reserve a court.
