Robbinsdale Police Seek Suspect In Hit-And-Run

The incident in a Minneapolis suburb sent a pedestrian to the hospital Monday.

ROBBINSDALE, MN — Police in a Minneapolis suburb are asking for the public's help in locating the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run Monday evening. On Dec. 3 just before 10 p.m., the Robbinsdale Police Department responded to a report of an accident at the intersection of County Road 81 and 41st Ave N.

Officers found a pedestrian in the roadway suffering from serious injuries. Investigators believe the victim was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The victim was hospitalized.

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a dark colored or gray sedan, possibly a Chevrolet. The vehicle likely has front end and windshield damage from the collision, police said.
