School Employee Exposed Himself To Students On Pajama Day: Police
Police say the incident happened at an elementary school in Plymouth and involved a 7-year-old and 8-year-old.
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — A Hopkins man employed at an elementary school in Plymouth was charged with criminal sexual conduct after he exposed himself to students, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said Wednesday.
Matthew Bowers, 35, was charged with two counts of fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of indecent exposure. He is expected to make his first court appearance Thursday.
According to the criminal complaint, a 7-year-old student told her mother she had seen Bowers’ penis on pajama day, which the elementary school said was March 19. That girl and an 8-year-old girl were interviewed and they said that Bowers was pushing them on a swing while wearing red pajamas with a zipper.

The girls thought Bowers wanted them to unzip the pajamas, so they did, according to police. He was not wearing underwear so they could see his penis and his pierced belly button, authorities said.
The complaint states that the girls said that he said nothing and just kept pushing them on the swing. In addition, both girls said that on a day earlier in the school year they were in the school library with Bowers and they pulled down his pants a little.

He then pulled the pants down farther, revealing his penis, according to the complaint.
